Entertaining but not scholarly

If you're looking for a collection of easy-to-read one page stories about the mysterious and paranormal, you'll enjoy this. However, if you're looking to do some serious research on these subjects, you'll have to look elsewhere. There are no footnotes or sources, no index, no bibliography. The stories could be made up for all the reader can tell.

Today, the internet can help track down the truth (or fiction) of many of these stories, but back in the 1960s, 70s and 80s there were literally hundreds of books like this rushed out to satisfy public demand, and they aren't worth much to the serious scholar.

Consider this book with all the faith you can conjur, it is well researched (I have read all findings in other related books of its type) and well written. Berlitz gives you the chance to allow yourself to take another look (more intensely) at the world you ordinarily take for granted. If have you any skeptisism in the world you now reside, Give this book a look. It will help you see things with more scrutiny.It is a subtle history of the unseen and therefore unhistorical in the eyes of the masses. I was unable to put it down.

I absolutely love this book!

I absolutely love this book! This is great bedtime reading as the individual stories are short. Two or three a night is perfect for me and it's fun to ponder them as I'm falling asleep. Mr Berlitz has a great writing style and I have not found a typo yet. Some of the stories leave a bit to the imagination as to what really happened because in depth research is not the purpose of this book. The stories, all factual, are more like snippets of the real event that wet your appetite yet give a clear picture of the event. While I was familiar with a few of stories, most of them were brand new to me, events I had never heard of. I'm going to purchase his other books, hoping that those stories are as good as these. One of the greatest values yet for a Kindle book over 150 neat little stories for $1.99!

It’s a sweet story of two people teaching each other to learn ...

Dex was a Navy Seal, his job as the team sniper......take out terrorist and keep his brother-in-arms alive. In doing so, he killed a lot of men. Dex thinks he's a cold blood killer and is constantly fighting his demons. He's given up on wanting a normal life.....what women wants a man with a dark soul and blood on his hands. Dex and five of his troubled Seal brother's start their own business on a Caribbean Island. All Dex needs in his life…….his brothers, a purpose, and the ocean, for the water soothes his wounded soul.

When Emma tried to end her relationship with her fiancé, he tried to kill her. Since her near death by drowning, Emma is terrified of water. She is determined to get her life back, so she takes a vacation to a Caribbean Island. When Emma is man handled by an unknown guy, a sexy white knight comes to her rescue. Emma falls for the sexy standoffish Dex. She convinces him to help her get over her fear of water, and in return she helps to free him of his demons.
The story started out a little slow, but it picks up midway. It’s a sweet story of two people teaching each other to learn how to heal their tortured souls. I look forward to reading the other Seal’s stories. Especially, “Ruined by a Seal.”

I was given this book for an honest review
I really enjoyed Kat Cantrell, this was the first time I read her work and I really enjoyed how she wove two different stories of people who needed someone in their lives to get over a horrible past.
Emma Richardson is trying to move past almost dying at the hands of someone that was supposed to love her.
Dex Riley is trying to escape his past as a SEAL and the things he did for his country. Trying to start a business with some SEAL buddies and move forward.
Both have an attraction to each other that could help them or ruin them. I'll look forward to reading more of these SEAL Books

A team of former SEAL's getting together to run a business in the Caribbean makes for a sexy, hot read! It's a fast and fun story with a super cute connection between these two even though they deal with a lot of seriousness in their conversations. The only thing that would have made me enjoy it even slightly more is a little more of a background behind them leaving the Navy and settling there with their business and their side jobs. I really enjoyed getting to know Dex and Emma and can't wait to continue with Evan and Rachel's story next!

Emma Richardson is trying to get over a traumatic experience, so she decides to get away from it all and go on vacation with her best friend Rachel. Not long after arriving, she runs into Dex on the beach and strikes up a flirtation.

Dex Riley escaped the real world of the States after his several tours with his SEAL team was over and now is running an island adventure company with several of the guys. He's attracted to Emma and but isn't looking for the type of straight and narrow type of gal that he thinks she is. When he finds out she has a history of her own, will he decide to throw caution to the wind and have that fling?

This book blessed my heart. It spoke the truth as I have never heard it. I am so glad to have come out of the deception of the Christo pagan religion, and the contaminated universal religion of Christianity.
